Bus stops to the city and other major centres (South Banks, West End, Mt Gravatt) are literally a 1 minute walk away. And Park Road train station is only a 5 minute walk away (3 stops to Roma St!) and is now and an express stop for trains to the Gold Coast.
Via either bus or train you can get to Southbank or the City in 15-20 minutes.
